This April, the Red Bull Jr. Surf Team was here in Playa Hermosa, staying right here at our own Marea Brava Beachfront hotel. The young surfers ranged in age from 12 to about 21, all of them stoked to be surfing in the tournament. All of the youngsters participated on both days of the event, both free-surf and tournament. The event was sponsored by Redbull and other organizations that provide sponsorship to sports events for young people. Marea Brava hotel was happy to support these youngsters by offering accomodations at the beachfront hotel, right here in Playa Hermosa.



Said Carlos, one young grom, "I just like to surf every day, it's my favorite way to spend time" - well said young man. These groms came equipped with an array of tricks, and skill. The Red Bull car was also on the premisis, handing out Red Bull to our hotel guests. You can see this car driving around Jaco all the time, especially when there is a surfing event.

The young surfers had a party their last night at the hotel, after a long day of surfing. We hope to see them again next year, right here in front of Marea Brava Beachfront Hotel in Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica. Thanks to Red Bull and these kids, it was a great turnout and everyone had a good time.
